Day 2: Plyometrics
I thought day 1 was as hard as it was going to get, but I was wrong. Even though my upper body is definitely not in the shape it used to be in, my legs seem to be in worse shape. Plyometrics or jump training consists of lots of exercises with jumping, and lunges which basically turn your quads into burning fireballs. By the end of the video my “jumps†were barely getting of the ground and I was almost entirely sweaty.
As Tony says, P90x is definitely a world class workout. My chest and hip flexors are definitely tender from yesterday’s abuse, especially where my pectoral’s meet my shoulder. I have a feeling I am going to be sore for a long while as my body catches yells at me for taking so many years off the exercising.
